The type of individuals who are very successful in their business are those coming from a Tier 1 or 2 Bank or Broker background, well trained in controls and risk mitigation, enjoy looking at ways of improving efficiencies, and who would like to work for a smaller company and be recognised for being successful and good at what they do.

To be considered for this fabulous opportunity, CassonX are looking to identify someone with a background in Operations Control, or at least able to demonstrate a background across a variety of Operations teams, including maybe reconciliations functions as that helps someone appreciate to investigate, resolve and prevent issues from happening again, and thus built a wide understanding of how a whole Operations department works. You will typically come from a sell side organisation, and at least supervised a small team. Wider knowledge of Operational Risk, Transactions Reporting and CASS are distinctly advantageous, and so is demonstrable experience in working on initiatives and projects to improve processes, minimize errors and improve controls across various Operations units. In person you will be very reliable and organised, having to juggle lots of information continuously, and help drive automations across Operations.

This incredibly wide reaching role will see the successful individual manage a small team that produces various monthly packs (KPI and MI based), working with various local and internationally outsourced Operations units to make sure they are sticking to their SLAs, CASS responsibilities, Group wide procedures, assist in mitigating risk in Operations teams, and all things to do with daily and month end reconciliations and investigations across Nostros.
