To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience working in a reconciliation’s role, with a strong mentality for controls and process improvements, ideally from a buyside institution. You will have experience of performing various types of cash and nostro reconciliations for various currencies, and investigating discrepancies, but preference is given to those with break resolution experience of stock, FX, CFD, ETD, Repo and OTC positions, and those who can demonstrate exposure to working on projects in reconciliations functions. They would consider those who are not from the buyside, but exposure to the Gresham CTC, Charles River OMS, Simcorp or Traiana systems is very useful, but it is deemed highly advantageous if you have advanced Excel or VBA skills, then this will be highly advantageous to assist with automating some more manual processes. Candidates with a short notice period will be prioritised.

This exciting role sees you work in a team where the whole of operations considers this function as a centre of excellence for the whole of Operations! You will work with multiple custodians, using their website portals to ensure timely reconciliations and break resolutions. You will be working for an incredible leader, who is proven at building risk robust Operations functions, championing change and improvements, and looking after all their staff and their careers well. As part of a small team, you will play an integral part of their reconciliation’s unit, that interacts with all business units in the Operations world, and their dedicated Business Analysts to strive for perfection with many continuous process improvements.
