Loans/CLO/Closing Hedge Fund Operations and Traders Assistant Role

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this $10bn+ Hedge funds that specialises in Fixed Income strategies, and includes CLO and Private Credit. Investing in everything across the Credit spectrum, this firm offers noticeable performance and returns above the industry benchmarks, and offers a very flat working structure with lots of visibility, with everyone getting long and pulling in the same direction. This is a growth based opportunity, where you will see and cover other asset classes and investment strategies they support.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who offers experience of working in a high volume and technical Loan Operations role in major banking institution, that may include Agency, Syndicated, Bilateral, Primary or Secondary functions, that should also include familiarity to Loan Closing or even CLO knowledge too. They are also willing to look at those coming from a similar varied Hedge Fund role, supporting the same Loans products. It is beneficial if you have also seen Fixed Income asset classes that might include Bonds, Derivatives, Repo, Securities Lending and other credit /rates / emerging market products. Your experience will have seen all things trade lifecycle in an operations/trade support/MO/TA background and ideally exposure conversing with outsourced operations providers and liaising with agent banks, administrators and prime brokers. VBA skills are most beneficial.

The remit for this role is very broad, cross product, and part of a newly created function. Your role will include trade capture, trade booking, working on ad-hoc tasks for PMs and following up on PnL issues and queries etc. You will provide wider support to the Fixed Income products they trade and will include execution of securities lending and repo with the market, handle corporate actions and get involved with various projects.
