Operations Manager – DUBAI – Global expansion of established UK business

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this fast-growing FX and Payment firm, that services both Retail and Corporate customers both here in London and in the international zone. To spearhead its growth, this company in embracing change throughout the whole company, launching offices globally, has a solid repeat business customer base and creating a whole new infrastructure for post-trade processes and a new technology platform for its books and records, client engagement and trade management. It is really exciting times to be joining them, and to be part of their growth and development from the bottom up. This hire is for their brand new office in Dubai.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with strong team management experience, with exposure to Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Trade Management experience. It is ideal you have experience of supporting FX products, however they would entertain those who have covered Equity, Fixed Income or Derivative asset classes and willing to move into an FX role.

It is our clients wishes to give preferential treatment to those who are already based in Dubai or the wider UAE region, but they would consider those relocating from the UK or EU, providing a working visa. Please note, there is no relocation support should you want to relocate from the UK or EU regions.

This role will see you be the first non-front office hire, where it is already populated with several business development professionals. They have obtained licenses and regulation to trade, and the role will see you hire Operations Analysts to help support the FX and Payments workflows. They plan to be Operational by April, and whilst you will manage a team of Operations professionals, you will also be responsible for running the office like a “business manager”.
