Fund Controller (P&L and NAV) with Automations – Hedge Fund – EXCLUSIVE ROLE

CassonX are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for this successful Equity focussed Hedge Fund that has an incredible COO that is constantly looking to enhance their post execution processes. This firm has a great track record, boasting superlative returns and offers a relaxed working environment where good work is recognised and rewarded with well above market bonuses. As part of the next step in their evolution, they are looking to really enhance their processes and drive enhancements across their Fund Controlling function.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify a Fund Controller  with experience of NAV oversight – Cayman & UCITS exp ideally (familiarity with SMAs also helpful), Daily P&L and NAV shadowing and Cash flow management (fees, invoices, subs/reds etc). It is essential that you can demonstrate a desire to innovate and improve processes, with demonstrable experience being showcased on your CV being an essential aspect of your application (especially if you can demonstrate building automations surrounding P&L processes, and especially where you have used VBA, Python or SQL). Any exposure to Financial Reporting and Audit (front to back), Tax knowledge / awareness and Investor Reporting is beneficial, and it is not essential you need to be a qualified accountant but certainly advantageous.

This exciting role will see you bring a history of making improvements and enhancements, coupled with day-to-day experience of working in a similar role, ideally from another boutique Alternatives Asset Manager or Fund Services provider or Accounting firm facing Alternatives. You will be responsible for all things NAV and P&L for the firm, operating as a Fund Controller, and have a “can do” attitude to want to take the function to the next level.
