CassonX are delighted to be EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for this growing Global Macro Hedge Fund which has a strong emphasis on Fixed Income and Fixed Income Derivative asset classes. This small company will see you have exposure to everyone in the business, sitting with the Front Office, where you will see how everything works in a $1bn+ manager. The COO is a long term client of CassonX, and we know that they are brilliant to work for, especially if you have a strong willingness to learn and attitude to be successful. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with strong Python skills, particularly for data analysis and automation (e.g. pandas, APIs, scripting workflows) and working with datasets. This entry level role into a hedge fund, will see you have gained 1-3 years experience in an Operations, Technology or related role within a bank, hedge fund, trading or tech firm, with obvious preference given to those who has experience building tools or scripts to solve real-world problems in a professional environment. Degree education is essential, and exposure to version control (e.g. Git) and basic DevOps concepts, and the Enfusion portfolio management system a huge advantage.

This role combines traditional operations responsibilities with a strong focus on automation, data processing, and systems development. You will work across futures, rates, FX, OTC derivatives, and commodities, gaining exposure to a broad product set while building tools to enhance the efficiency and robustness of the operational platform. You will collaborate closely with trading, risk, compliance, and technology, with a mandate not only to run processes, but to improve and automate them.
