CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for a highly experienced Hedge Fund Administration Business Development Specialist who offers well rounded knowledge of how various Open Ended Funds work and how to win their business. Working for this major name in the Hedge Fund world will give you opportunity to target various funds in the EMEA region, strategically partnering with other international Sales colleagues and senior internal individuals. This award wining business offers hybrid working conditions and the opportunity to sell Fund Administration (Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency), Middle/Back Office, Reporting Services, and coupled with a variety of Technology solutions to enhance their revenues.

To be considered for this truly exciting role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who boasts proven experience of success in Alternatives Sales in Fund Administration or Prime Brokerage, and offers a roller deck of contacts specifically in the EMEA region (strong focus on the UK, Swiss and Nordic regions in particular). You will benefit from a wide breadth of knowledge on the mechanics of how Open Ended Funds work (Hedge Funds, SMAs, Managed Accounts, Fund of Hedge Fund and Family Offices) and what they need from service providers to be successful. Your knowledge will include various types of fund strategies as well as various asset classes, and examples of new client “wins” will be asked to be demonstrated during the interview process.
The purpose of this role is research, identify and engage with business leaders of Open Ended Funds to drive profitable new revenues for this company. This can be achieved by targeting both new fund launches and established funds and taking ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters. You will be required to attend industry events, and of course travel throughout the EMEA region to build credibility in the industry and with potential clients.
