To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who is looking for their first role in Financial Service. Any interest in Derivatives (Futures and Options) and Commodities is distinctly advantageous, and should you have good technology (AI, automations, VBA, Python etc) then this is deemed highly advantageous as they would like someone who can review what they are doing and see if their is a chance to improve controls or time efficiencies. No work experience is necessary, but you must be willing to be 5 days onsite, and work on a shift pattern covering global markets and exchanges between 07:30 and 22:00 (which is very normal in the industry). This role ideally suits someone at the start of their career looking to broaden their knowledge and experiences in an experienced team. A strong appreciation for delivery quality client services is also considered favourable.
Supporting many global markets, your role is to ensure timely and accurate clearing of trades into client accounts, using LISA, LME Smart or Propriety systems. Your training will see you develop knowledge of Top-Day, T0 and T+1 processes and investigations, familiarity with various exchange GUIs. Directly working with, interacting and supporting the Front Office, you will investigate and resolve same day clearing exceptions promptly, making sure all of their trades are accurately and timely processed. T+1 breaks will also need to be investigated and resolved.
