CassonX are delighted to be EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for this independent specialist Alternative Investment Manager, who are growing quickly and producing great results. They are a true multi-strategy business with their own funds, supporting and seeding talented managers with outstanding infrastructure as managed accounts, and even offering UCITS. Strategies include in Equity Long/Short and Event Driven on the discretionary side, to Systematic Macro, CTA and Statistical Arbitrage strategies on the systematic side. This company have plans to launch many new funds in the next year, and every employee is treated as a member of their family, and not just a person on their payroll. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who ideally has experience working in a Fund Administration / Services provider and looking to move into the “client side” and be part of a growing and successful Hedge Fund. They are willing to identify someone coming from another Hedge Fund or Asset Management type firm, but they like the idea of someone seeing a variety of funds and strategies. You must experience of shaddow NAVs, working with or for an administrator, and preference will be given to those with knowledge of PnL investigations and can start ASAP.

The role will be responsible to support a plethora of different funds and strategies; trouble shooting pricing and valuation issues, review of the Fund Administrators calculation of the dealing NAV and NAV estimates, maintenance of internal shadow NAV and reporting including accurate valuations, calculating and instructing Share Class hedges and explain return divergences, and assist with the annual fund audits and review of the financial statements where appropriate. More details are available to those who submit a relevant CV.
