Investment Data Analyst – 12 month contract

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for an Investment Data professional to support the development of a newly established Data function. This is a unique opportunity to join a business that has not previously operated with a dedicated data team, offering the chance to help shape processes, controls and workflows from the ground up.

Positioned at the heart of Technology, and Investment Operations, this role will ensure that high quality, accurate investment data supports portfolio management, reporting, NAV production and wider organisational decision making. You will serve as a central control point within the data lifecycle, validating and overseeing key data feeds before they are utilised by downstream teams. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, CassonX are looking to identify someone with strong investment management knowledge, particularly across NAV processes and investment data structures. You will demonstrate experience in data validation, reconciliation and data quality control.

Your background will include working closely with custodians, with a clear understanding of how investment data flows from provider to internal systems (e.g. via SFTP to internal platforms and reporting tools). You will possess a strong appreciation for data governance principles and understand the importance of implementing robust controls before data is used for reporting, analysis and NAV production.
