This business is a prominent member of the Association of Foreign Banks, whilst offering boutique working conditions supporting their Private Banking, Wholesale Banking and Treasury focusses. CassonX has had a longstanding relationship with this client, and know that even though they have had a lot of change over recent times, like many other similar small banks have had to adjust to new regulations, they have a very highly imaginative leaders in the business that provide new ways of thinking at all times.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with extensive experience of supporting SMCR regulations, and ideally wider regulatory changes and/or financial crime related responsibilities in a similar type of institution. You must be able to demonstrate you have enough experience to be able to lead an SMCR and Conduct Rule Breach committee and update SMCR procedures for both certifies staff and SMF’s.

The Compliance team is primarily responsible for regulatory compliance, operational and legal risk coverage to support the Private, Priority and Corporate and Institutional Banking business in London.  As a Manager in Compliance, you will provide day to day support to the London Business on all regulatory matters which includes full management of the SMCR framework, but assisting in training the London Branch on regulatory changes, supporting regulatory compliance and financial crime, and executing regulatory reporting as and when required. There will also be times when the employee may need to liaise with Group Head Office on Operational Risk and Audit matters. A detailed job description is available to those who submit a relevant CV.
