CassonX have had a longstanding relationship with a financial services firm that offer professional online retail trading, institutional prime brokerage, and high touch trading for professional clients, and this opportunity sits in their professional online retail trading business, which has emphasis on CFD and Spread Betting products. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who was lead a small team of IT professionals in a Financial Services company. You will have experience of MS365 applications, VBA, Cloud based software and good knowledge of Cyber and information security frameworks. There is distinct preference to those who have experience in supporting multiple geographies and worked in Retail or Professional trading environments.
In this role you will:
- Provide end to end knowledge of their companies infrastructure.
- Work closely with the Development team as needed to resolve issues within the infrastructure.
- Maintain and keep updated their architecture network diagrams.
- Ensure the IT policy is updated and maintained.
- Responsible for managing projects key to the success to ensure a risk adverse approach, key milestone monitoring and adhering to agreed dates, and reporting to Management.
- Developing and training the technology support team across all locations, fostering a best-in-class culture
- Create and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer experience and team performance.
- Provide regular data reports and escalate data errors and trends to the COO where appropriate.
- Create, amend, and monitor access controls so that users have the correct level of access to systems, whilst ensuring that they are kept secure.
- Conduct risk assessments on various applications, systems, infrastructure, cloud-environments, and third-party arrangements. Document identified risk through a risk report to be effectively communicated shared with business and/or technical leadership.
- Create, maintain and update service desk internal and end user related documentation, processes and procedure that underpin all service desk support functions.
- Provide regular data reports and escalate data errors and trends to the COO where appropriate.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process of staff, including account set-ups and closures, and the assignment and retrieval of staff equipment.
- Facilitate and own continual improvement on Cyber Security related processes and tooling.
- Provide tailored advice to a range of stakeholders on how to mitigate identified risks by proportionately applying security controls, using best practice and standards.
