Assistant Operations Manager – Tier 1 Hedge Fund – Macro with Fixed Income / Rates bias

CassonX are thrilled to be partnering with one of the major names in the Hedge Fund world. This large AUM business offers substantial pedigree in the industry, and has gone through some major changes of the last 5 years, catapulting them to the top performing managers in London. They are a true macro strategy business, underlyingly with a bond book bias, especially with Rates, however they do also cover Credit, and Systematic strategies across Equities, FX and Listed Derivatives. This powerhouse of an institution has a global presence, and international careers are available to those who perform well.

To be considered for the role, CassonX are looking to identify a seasoned Hedge Fund Operations professional who ideally offers support for high volume macro strategies, or at very least various Fixed Income strategies. You will offer some supervisory or leadership skills, and sound knowledge of T+1 processes across reconciliations, break resolutions, lifecycle processing and all things when liaising with appointed Prime Brokers.

This replacement role will give you opportunity to become the second in command of the Trading Operations team, but worth noting that the current Manager will be relocating internationally internally within the group within the next year. This will mean that a more senior role will become available for the successful individual to grow into.
