Varied Technical Hedge Fund role – Product Control, Fund Administration / NAV, Reporting and Operations

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this prestigious Hedge fund, that has a macro investment strategy with heavy focus on Fixed Income products as well as other products such as Equities and OTC Derivatives. To be considered for this role, CassonX, are looking to identify those with strong Fund Operations knowledge gained on the buyside, the ideal candidate will have exposure to product control type responsibilities (PnL, how to price a bond etc), Fund Accounting including shadow NAV reconciliations and Reporting (K1, UK Fund Reporting, Tax Reporting etc). An ideal candidate will have experience of maintaining the fund’s books and records, managing cash flows, audit, tax, regulatory reporting and reviewing NAV calculations. It is beneficial that you will have experience of Operations and dealing trade lifecycle, but this is not essential and can be taught. An understanding of Fixed Income asset classes is essential (bonds, loans, CDS, forwards, repos, TRS products).

This varied role will see you cover a range of tasks that range from operations, trading support, treasury, fund accounting through to investor relations support. This includes trade settlements, treasury management, controls, NAV calculation, process improvements, Investor Relations, Fund expenses, Valuations, Fund documentation, reconciliations, performance measurement, compliance/audit support and Financial Reporting.
