Investment Operations Analyst – Asset Transfers

CassonX are are thrilled to be partnering with an investment platform and fund administration business based in the heart of the city of London. They have had continued growth over the years, now managing £20bn+, and looking to grow their Asset Transfers / Transitions team. CassonX are looking to speak with candidates with group/scheme level Asset Transfers or Transitions experience, or wider experience in an Investment Operations team with knowledge of Asset Transfers / Transitions for defined contribution or defined benefit pension schemes. You will ideally have some experience of managing the transitions plans to completion, and that could include drafting the documentations surrounding this process, onboarding and AML processes, restructuring activities like when due to changes in target allocations as example, and offboarding of schemes to other providers. You will have gained at least 3 years experience in a similar type of opportunity, probably in another platform, fund administrator, custodian, life company or pension fund manager, and the salary of offer will be reflective of the pedigree gained. Preference given to those with CISI Investment Operations Certificate qualification or equivalent, and to those who understand the time pressures in getting deals done and making sure that settlements, reconciliations and dealing requires.

This very varied role will see you gain access to all parts of the Asset Transitions at group/scheme level. It is quite a manual process, so a keen eye for detail is required, especially when considering the role will require you to plan and manage all onboarding activities, and transferring assets across fund providers, transfer agents and custodians where necessary. You will get involved in many of the restructures their clients require, and support all instructions of standard and non-standard onboarding/offboarding fund trades.
