This company has just gained approval to launch its Payments technology, and they are very excited that they will work with new customers as well as having the commitment to support the banks clients for their payment needs, on an international basis and in their specialist market. This company offer hybrid working conditions and all employees are encouraged to be part of their journey, especially as it is so close to their launch.


To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has held a Operations Manager or Payments Manager role for a Fintech firm. Coupled with excellent leadership and project management skills in identifying ways to improve efficiency and improvements in processes, you will have experience in innovative payment mechanisms and understand FinTech laws and regulations on local and international markets (for instance experience with the FCA’s, SYSC 8 expectations on outsourcing arrangements).


This exciting role will require you to provide management, leadership and strategic direction for the Operations department of this business. This will involve:


  • Help design, implement and maintain the operational strategy and ensure operational efficiency
  • Look to improve the whole customer experience with the implementation of new systems, policies/procedures and create a robust customer support processes. This requires strong leadership for the team
  • Sound use of data to ensure accurate reporting of call centre interactions, insights on customer satisfaction and feedback processes, as well as monitoring team performances in terms of delivery
  • Manage all Outsourced Services (Direct reports, Payments and Vendors).
  • Always think of ways to represent the customers; not only engage with Customers to understand and validate their evolving business needs, but working with various departments for best practises, and identifying customer insights and product improvement
  • Drive change and efficiencies where necessary, always adopting a risk-based approach to proactively identify and address risks
  • Liaise with regulators, public authorities and ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop strong customer relationships and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Track and analyse data metrics to determine growth opportunities and improvement areas
