Operations Manager – Retail Trading (FX/CFD/Spread Betting)

CassonX have had a longstanding relationship with a financial services firm that offer professional online retail trading, institutional prime brokerage, and high touch trading for professional clients, and this opportunity sits in their professional online retail trading business, which has emphasis on CFD and Spread Betting products. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience being a leader of an Operations team in a retail trading business. You must be able to showcase an understanding of trade life cycles in the retail FX, CFD and spread betting universe, reconciliations and investigations skills, and preference will be given to candidates who have experience of working on systems projects, as they are looking to upgrade to new versions of their systems. You must have MT4 and/or MT5 exposure to be considered, exposure to MetaQuotes software is very advantageous.

This wide-reaching role will see you lead a small team in London and collaborate with international locations for the successful maintenance of MT4 and MT5 servers. Your team will also be responsible for timely and accurate completion of reconciliations and resolving breaks, and involvement in projects and tasks to improve and replace existing systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring client deposits and withdrawals, flow with liquidity providers, margin management, and liaising with counterparties and clients, as required, to resolve any trading/ account issues that arise.
