CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this fast growing Retail and Corporate customers FX and Payments, both here in London and in the international zone. To spearhead it’s growth, this company in embracing change throughout the whole company, launching offices globally, has a solid repeat business customer base and creating a whole new infrastructure for post-trade processes and a new technology platform for it’s books and records, client engagement and trade management. It is really exciting times to be joining them, and to be part of their growth and development from the bottom up. They are currently based in Mayfair, but relocating to the City of London in July 2024. This is a brand new role and the chance for someone to help build out a whole new unit and department.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience or at least an appreciation for various types of cash reconciliations, and ideally you will have supported or worked on a project during this time, showcasing various parts of a project lifecycle including supporting roadmaps and workstreams, documenting, testing and even implementing. They would also consider someone coming from a purely project support role, maybe even working for a project consultancy firm working supporting project managers and business analysts in a PMO type role. Of course, should you be able to demonstrate experience of a system migration then this is highly advantageous. Knowledge of various types of reconciliations, especially surrounding cash and safeguarding (CASS), but also suspense, settlements and trade accounts is beneficial.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with an already identified system migration for their new Reconciliations function. You will be helping the Reconciliations Manager who is running current BAU processes in parallel, with a view to completing the migration ASAP, and will be a BAU role predominantly making sure that any breaks are promptly identified and resolved. You will help define and contribute to the new reconciliations processes, cash / trade reconciliations and investigations of all issues and breaks identified, and assist the Reconciliations Manager with liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to drive the changes needed.
