CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this growing yet currently boutique and specialised Trading company, that focusses a wide variety FX markets and products. They currently have about 25 voice specialists in the front office, and major plans to launch a new digital product offering, and the successful incumbent will be mentored and developed by some of the currency markets best professionals in the industry. To be considered for this role CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience of working in a trade lifecycle focussed role, directly supporting the front office, with any exposure to middle office, trade support, trade confirmations, novations, reconciliations, transaction reporting or even settlements. Of course the client would prefer someone who has gained knowledge across FX or FX Derivatives, but this is not essential and they are willing to look at any major traded asset classes like Equities or Fixed Income as example. This role naturally suits someone with a year or two experience, but what is key is that you must be hungry to learn, naturally inquisitive and can appreciate and willing to relish what a good opportunity this is to be the first hire in a support function for the firm, and to be able to shadow the COO daily. They would even let you go and work in one of their international offices for a few months, if you would like the chance to have experienced an international culture.

This very broad role will see you cover a vast array of projects, KPI production and learning of sales and trading techniques in the FX world, but fundamentally on a daily basis you will be asked to make sure all lifecycle Operations and Middle Office works is covered, onboarding of new clients, end of day balances and exposure is flat, and all transactions are investigated, matched and settled with Prime Brokers.
